RedBull 3Style tonight!

My baaad on sucking with actual music updates. I have this Sunday off though (and will make sure to post plenty).

But hey, later today/tonight is the Ottawa stop for RedBull's 3Style competition. Eight local djs fight for the "most versatile" $1000 prize, with only 15 minutes (and mandatory touching of 3 different music genres) of showcase time each. The local crown will then (in March) face the winners from every other city for the national title and $3000 bag-o-money. Our judging will be handled by Stylusts djs Drastik & Illo, DJ Huggs (of Dim Mak, Los Angeles), and the Jokers of the Scene duo. Once the winner is announced, the dancefloor becomes property of the JOTS & Stylusts.

Only found out yesterday that I am to host the party, so as a last second "come on out" shout, you can gain FREE guestlist entry to the otherwise $10/15 showcase by emailing full names to straight-goods@hotmail.com. Must email by 5pm today, must include full names (no 'Mike +4'), and must be at venue before 11pm list expiry time. Must get drunk too. Must.
