Can we please put J Cole on some more UK shit? Heard this via the dude S-X (man behind the beat here) - as I was on a steady find-all-his-instrumentals tear ever since I first heard his "Bricks" last year. The whole Tinie Tempah's EP is fire, actually. Pusha T, Tinchy Stryder, Big Sean, Wiz, & Cole features don't hurt either.

Show recap: ASAP Rocky (video + pics)
Super late on this recap post, but better late than never. Few weeks ago we (Straight Goods) teamed up with our frequent collaborators Kapacity & TheKnwldg to present the Ottawa debut of A$AP Rocky & the A$AP Mob. It was their 2nd show north of the border, and the sold out crowd spoke volumes about Canada's fanbase committment.
A Day With OLIVER (video)
I remember having the homie U-Tern (1/2 of OLIVER) play one of our parties back about 4 years ago ('08 poster game like whoa) & thinking this man needs to be producing big pop records. Not on some cheese shit, but on some serious talent level shit. Could you imagine a pop record with U-Tern & Treasure Fingers (another one of those "how has a major name not put him in studio yet" guys) behind it? One day...
Klifton Manner - Let Me Love You
Released almost 6 months ago & still bangs. "Old" by blog standards, but relatively new in my opinion (due to nobody really giving it the light of day... still). I mean, dude has 21 soundcloud followers. Time people get familiar with him (as well as his equally superb Baxta alias).

TONIGHT: ASAP Rocky
I haven't plugged any of my shows on here since back in '10 - but this one deserves the entry as it's goin' to be somethin' else. Been hella about the dude A$AP since he first fondled youtube with his southern infused Harlem self. Four months, couple million views, articles galore, internet buzz through the roof, and we're here - $3 million deal in pocket, 23 years young, selling out our show (and every other one as well, it seems) a month before he departs on his 30+ date arena tour with Drake & Kendrick Lamar.

Big K.R.I.T. x Clams Casino
Young'ns are taking over. The 25 year old behind one of my favourite rap mixtapes of the year (Return Of 4Eva) & the 23 year old with one of the hottest (& most original, without a doubt) instrumentals tapes of the year (Instrumental Mixtape)... TOGETHER?!
