The boys on that Tribe Called Quest!!!
I don't think I'll ever grow out of Burial. I had the most perfect fall asleep on the couch night the other day thanks to low volume play of the "Untrue" album. I also don't see the dubstep sound slowing down anytime soon. But that's a given.
Kissy Sell Out on the remix.

Lily gettin' some remix love. First version is courtesy of one of my favourite UK cats, Duke Dumont.

I actually threw a few Duke Dumont joints up on The Docking Station earlier today, so jump over there and grab them shits!
Second edit is a faster paced touch from Brisbane up-and-comer Son of Vader.

Chew Lips are a year old UK creation. Currently touring with The Virgins + recently releasing their single "Solo" on the always stellar Kitsune label = quite the feat for such a new act. I've always been a big fan of Tepr edits (Santogold remix back here), so it was nice to see the collabo.

I made some new friends @ our party on Tuesday. Levi is one of them. He was one of our photographers for the night (working alongside good man Alex Vlad). I was just creeping Vlad's site to see if the pics were up yet, and saw linkage to Levi's blog. Found this pic of his home office altered kitchen... and I'm feelin' the ish. I never use my stove either.
Another thing I don't use nearly enough is my imagination. This is where we differ.
Few more Levi snaps:
Beautiful day out. Imma do it the pre-facebook way and go promo downtown with posters & flyers. To all my Ottawa peoples, we're throwing the Bloc Party afterparty this Tuesday. The concert has been sold out for a good minute now, but the dj set tix are only 8 doellaz. Full info in the events page.
So a few months ago, the first remix (of the previously posted song) that I came across was courtesy of L-Vis 1990. Although solid, I never upped it here (but, instead, went on to include the Rob 3 version). Later that same week, my ass got crazy about Crazy Cousinz. And nowww my musical tastebuds are super bassatisfied due to the fusion of these talents.

*Bongo Jam original is back here.
While on the Mujava tip, I've noticed that the Sinden "Township Funk" edit gets the most club play... so considering everyone (obviously) has that ish, here are two other versions:

We're bringin' DZ through tonight for our March edition of Disorganised.
Homie has been merking the dubstep scene for a minute now, having his "Down" track in the top 10 in Beatport's Dubstep section for the last 10 weeks (4 of which were @ the #1 spot), landing the official remix honours of JOTS' "Baggy Bottom Boys" (which will be out on Fool's Gold records), and recently getting signed to the Trouble & Bass label.
Jokers of the Scene & Drastik will be up in the bitch as well, joining DZ in a night of heavy club music, dubstep, raveraverave, and basssssssss galore.
ALSO - this blog has turned into party promo, and I apologize for that (I've been busy), so I'll make sure to put a shitload of music up this weekend.
